So what does this all mean?
The student who will perform best on the new SAT is a student who excels in algebra, is not reliant on his or her calculator, and who comfortably interprets charts and graphs. The SAT may also be a good option for students who struggle with time on tests.
However, because of the lack of official materials and the mystery surrounding the meaning of new SAT scores, we continue to recommend that current juniors stick to the ACT and freshman and sophomores consider both the ACT and the SAT before making any decisions.
